Phosphorwatches.com Review + Giveaway

So this is the box that the watch came in
When I removed the white box, It has Phosphor on top of it
Love the nice and lovely Packaging
Inside the box is the watch
on the back there belt also had phosphor on it
here is close up of the back of the watch
this is the readers manual
The site description:
Phosphor reveals the new Appear watch line, skillfully blending design and technology to craft the ultimate fashion timepiece.

Driven by Micro-Magnetic Mechanical Digital (M3D) technology, the Phosphor Appear watch utilizes miniature-sized rotors adorned with Swarovski™ crystals that revolve to reveal numerical or chronological information. With each minute, an electrical pulse generates an electromagnetic field that changes the position of the crystals on the face of the watch, to elegantly display the passing time, while producing a distinctive sound unique to the Phosphor Appear digital watch line.

The basic "time" mode features a 12-hour display, with the hours positioned above the minutes on the face. The watch face also offers a "seconds" mode and "off" mode, showing an entire face of crystals with no time display. Comes in Red, Pink, White, and Black

Features:
  • Case diameter: 43.8mm
  • Overall case thickness: 14.5mm
  • Water resistance: 5 ATM - 50m
  • Display: 12 hour only
  • Functions: Time, Seconds, and Off

So I came across this mechanical digital watch, which I am sure not a lot of you have seen before. It's made by Phosphor, time reinvent. In which it has rotating Swarovski Crystals on the display, rotating as time ticks.
This pacific watch is Phosphor Appear Black Crystal Watch with White Gloss Leather Strap
retails for about $249 at phosphor online store.
This watch technology works with the "Micro-Magnetic Mechanical" using the electromagnetic pulse to change the position of the crystals on the display of the watch.
As the time changes in second or yet minutes, the watch makes a fluttering noise, yet if the noise is disturbing, you can push the upper side button and the numeral display will disappear and turn in to all sliver crystals. It was impressive to find that when the display is off, the watch always keeps its time, so when you turn it on it would show the current time.
At first the sound was a bit distracting in my thought, though I felt that it was nice to have, something that gets your and everyone attention! Nonetheless it always fun watching the clock tick and watch the times change!
After seeing the watch I was quite amazed by the design and in love with the display of this watch.
I feel this watch could fit a causal look or party look, You can dress up with this style or yet wear it out.
I'm surprised by the fact that such technology exists, I do agree that it's not one of the tiny or slim watches it its lovely to attract anyone's attention and is a master fashion piece.

So I planned to go head to head with my white Movado from the Bold Collection :)
This is how the look inside the box, the Movado has a bigger box. I feel both are nicely packaged!
Movado with the classic display dial, and the Phosphor with the digital display dial
Here are both of the watches on my hand
Movado Bold has a lot more smaller display dial then the Phosphor
The Phosphor belt is a bit thicker, and more eye catching, Yet I do do love the Matt white belt on my Movado :)
the phosphor is way bigger and thicker
the back of both watches
The Movado Bold looks very tiny in this one
Close up of the back of the belt detailing, and the stitching
The Bold has the bright color accent with the pink, yet it does not beat the great digital display of the phosphor.
All in all they both have the unique look, yet i feel that the Phosphor is more eye catching due to the digital display with the flattering noise it makes, it makes it unique and something nobody has, it makes the watch stand out from any ordinary classic watch.
I am the person who likes unique stuff, when i sew this white Mavado, I felt it was different and that is the reason i purchased it, yet now i feel that this phosphor watch is even more unique, and i am sure it will be joining my collection of watches pretty soon!

The price is an other question the Phorsphor cost about $249 where the Movado is $295 about a $50 difference.

All in all both are great, let me know what you think about it, and which one you like?
